CHAPTER ONE.

Once upon a time, in the village of Nwabada, there lived a lady named Ijeoma. Ijeoma was 18years when she lost her Father. Two months after her Father died, she lost her only Mother. Now, ijeoma is living with her grandmother who is almost at the point of death.
One cool evening, when ijeoma was cooking dinner in the kitchen, Her grandmother called her.... “ijeoma, ijeoma” Her grandmother called Her. “Yes! I'm coming” ijeoma answered. Few seconds later, ijeoma was with Her grandmother. "Yes grandma, you sent for me” ijeoma said.
“My daughter, pick a seat and sit down because I have a very important thing to tell you right now” replied her grandmother. “Mama, I hope everything is alright because you haven't called me like this to tell something since I've been living with you” ijeoma said.
“It's nothing my daughter, is just as you know that I am in the point of death and I'm going to die very soon as all humans on earth will someday” ijeoma's grandmother replied. "Grandma, you know you're the only one I have left in this whole world, please mama, am begging you because I don't want this to be your last words eh” Ijeoma replied in tears. “I don't know but I want to tell you this my daughter, I know that if I die now things will be hard for you. Ijeoma, I want you to be strong and believe in yourself. Take this necklace, it's not just a necklace but a powerful one. I want you to take this necklace to the shrine of Nkawma, why I'm sending you there's not just to do anything else but to seek revenge from your uncles who killed your parent” Ijeoma's grandmother said.
“Grandma, I know I want to seek revenge from those who killed my parent but what you're telling me to do is too dangerous” ijeoma replied. “I know my daughter, but you have to do these for your parent's sake. Nkawma shrine is near three village after Nwaba Atuka village. When you get there, go straight to a very big tree named zoko. When you've reached the tree, take the necklace and hang it in one of it's branches, after hanging it, the tree with open, enter it. After that, then you will see a old herbalist, you'll explain to him how you got there. Then he'll lead you into a room where you'll find lots of spirit bride and bridegroom who died immediately after they got married. You'll only pick one person,a bridegroom, out of all of them. After choosing, the herbalist will release him to you. Then, go out of the tree with the chosen spirit, take your necklace off the tree and the tree will be closed again. Take the spirit home and make it love you and you'll also love him, else you never get your revenge. Make sure your love goes for the revenge and nothing else. After your revenge, leave the spirit bridegroom alone, don not speak nor show love to him anymore else, you'll become a sprint bride too and that will not be good for you my child. So adhere to my words, don't get distracted and be careful as you go my child. I don't think I can stay with you after today, I love you ijeoma, just go”Grandmother gave up the ghost.
Ijeoma, in an uncontrollable tears, she wept heartbreaking.
